(Marvin) The biathlons are becoming my favorite races to do. I did this one for the first time last year and felt like it defeated me. I broke down on the run two miles in, plus the weather was so hot and muggy. I had a time of 1:28:57 and came in 68th I was also riding my Giant mountain bike. This year I felt ready. Only thing that could have been better would have been the weather, it was raining off and on. I had a time of 1:17:06, 21mph bike ride and took 5th in age, 14th/206. Even though I didn't place this was one of the most satisfying races I have done.

This is the first year I have done the Highland Biathlon. Yes, the weather could have been better. This race you run five miles and bike15. My run time was not that great and my transition time was horrible, 2:33. I just waste too much time there. My bike ride was better: dist-14.63, time-43:25, max spd-29.1, avg spd-20.2. I got 7th in my age group (35-39) and 44th/206 with an overall time of 1:21:45.
