(Marvin) The River to River Relay is a 8 person team running from the Mississippi to the Ohio river for 80 miles. Each team member runs 3 to 4 miles 3 legs a piece. This was my forth time I ran the relay, and third time with the team called The Pub Crawlers II. I tried to get in my own team but miss the dead line. If you don't register in the first ten minute you will not get a spot, so I hope next year I'll snag a spot. The best thing about this relay is the scenery. The worst thing is the hills. It's a challenge no matter what leg you run. I pick leg six this year which on the last leg has one of the worst hill in the relay. I wanted to conquer that hill, and I did. I passed seven people on that 3.8 mile leg. I check the elevation on my garmin gps and I climb 375 ft for 1.25 miles. I average a 6:52 pace for that whole leg. This year was one of the best runs I had at the relay. I felt that I could do another leg after my last one. Here is the team picture.

Back row left to right: JP, Jimena, Karen, Thara, Leslie, Lauren, Front left: John and Me Marvin
One of the best thing about the race is the atomsphere. It is all about fun and at the end of the race it turns into a party at Golconda, IL
