End Domestic Violence Waterloo 5K May 12 2007

(Marvin) At this race the people were very friendly. The course started out downhill for almost a half mile then it turned into long gradually climbing hills. I finished with a time of 19:08 and took third overall.

(David) Like Marvin said, the volunteers and people at this race were really nice. That always makes for a better experience. The race started downtown and we ran along the streets of Waterloo. It was a nice race to run. I was fourth overall with a time of 19:58. I got first in my age group (30-39) simply because the top three runners were listed as overall winners. I think there were 40 or so runners, male and female. I also won an attendance prize, which is always a plus.
